Create Your Own Link Page
Creating your own link page has many benefits. First, it makes your homepage less cluttered, instead of putting a blogroll in your sidebars, you can create a page where you can put all your favorite links in one place. Not only that, you can easily classify them by creating categories using your headings and placing those links to its proper place. Secondly, now that your favorite links are properly categorized and placed under their proper description, search engines will not think your Link Page to be a link farm. Just don’t forget to categorize them!
Blogroll nowadays are just displayed in the blog’s homepage just to show readers their favorite links but doesn’t have any meaningful use. Rarely does readers browse who are your favorite links, websites or blogs anymore, unless your interested readers are following those whom you are linking to. So instead of putting up your blogroll or wasting your time creating categories for your links in your sidebars, just create a Link Page. It’s easier to create headings or categories and placing those links under their proper description. It will save you time and you could use the extra space inĀ your sidebars for a more meaningful purpose. And if readers are really interested in visiting your blogroll, they will visit your Link Page.

Very true and nice post.
This is what I did on my blog. I made a separate page for my blogroll.
This post is very informative especially to newbie bloggers like me. Thanks a lot for sharing this post.
I agree that making a separate Link Page would make your site less cluttered, I would like to know how am I supposed to do that on Blogger?
Hello,
First, thank you for your comment, I am not an expert in using blogger so I made some research and found this interesting article Creating Static Pages with Blogger, read also the comments which I think are also useful if you encounter any problems. Hope this helps, thank you.
The same as Jonhappiness, I’m also using blogger, and wonder how can I do that on blogger. I have tried to visit your link on Creating Static Pages with Blogger. But Unfortunately I haven’t made it. My Internet connection is not that good. Maybe I will try it some other time. Thank you. Very much inspiring.
Though I still have my blog roll in my sidebar, I also use a wp plugin which lets me have my blog roll on a page with an automatically created thumbnail from each sites –> http://www.prisqua.com/blogroll
